Step Into Enchantment
The Pixie & Fairy Village is a whimsical garden crafted with love, folklore, and artistry. Hand-built cottages, sparkling water features, and mosaic sculptures invite children and adults alike to wander, dream, and reconnect with wonder. Visitors describe it as “soul-touching” and “a place like no other.”
Created by Mama Pixie (Maritz) and inspired by the Zulu river fairy tales she heard as a child, the Village grew from imagination into a living storybook. Together with her husband Gerrie and local artists, she turned those stories into a place of joy and connection. Since opening in 2017, it has been featured on television and continues to capture hearts across the West Coast.

The West Coast Labyrinth isn’t just a path of stones; it’s an open call to slow down. At the entrance, a sign invites you to breathe deeply, quiet your thoughts, and walk with intention. Each step becomes part of a quiet ritual shaped by your own state of mind and spirit.

The wooden archway is more than an entrance - it’s a gentle crossing. As you pass beneath it, you leave behind the noise of daily life and enter a space created for reflection. Here, time stretches, and even the sea breeze feels like part of the journey.
The Spiraling Path
The Labyrinth’s winding stone circles echo ancient designs found around the world. Step by step, the path draws you inward, past aloes and succulents rooted in West Coast soil. There’s no rush, no wrong turn - only the rhythm of your footsteps and the calm that follows.

The Succulent Nursery at The Plot celebrates the rugged beauty of the West Coast. Rows of aloes, cacti, and hardy coastal plants thrive in Jacobsbaai’s fresh sea air, each shaped by sun, soil, and salt.

Guests are welcome to wander through the nursery, discovering the variety of textures, colours, and forms. From tiny rosettes to tall aloes, every plant tells its own quiet story of survival and strength.
A Piece to Take Home
Many of the plants and rock-art pieces are available for purchase, giving visitors the chance to take home a living memory of Jacobsbaai. Each is unique, a reminder of slow mornings and sea-scented air.
